Let nature be thy medicine

Don't be afraid to touch or hug a tree, give them a little tussle. It's good for your mind, body and soul, I tell ya! Have a conversation with the sky and let the earth recalibrate your nervous system. Stare at the stars and let them organically rewire your perspective.

Nature holds the original blueprint to your exquisite belonging. You are nature. When we forget who we are, go barefoot and have a little stomp around. Go quiet, listen to nature, and take time out to re-wild a bit. Discipline yourself to get off the digitals and go dance with the divine. You don't need fixing, you gorgeous creature — you need re-rooting and to plug into the remembrance that nature is your best medicine out!

Did You Know? Just 20 minutes immersed in nature can reduce cortisol, lower your heart rate, and boost your immune system. It's not just pretty — it's potent. Your body recognises the wild — it remembers how to regulate when it's home to the Earth.

Whispers from the village: Someone told me recently that seeing Earth as your lover, and not your mother, massively flips the script. This flips the traditional caretaker narrative and creates a sensual, mutual relationship — full of respect, pleasure, and stewardship. Go get em, you ecosensualist you! Ha.

The Invitation: Take yourself on a beautiful "barefoot pilgrimage" — even if it's just in your backyard or a park. Leave your phone at home and turn this immersive digital detox too. Walk slowly, touch bark, whisper a question to a tree or bit of nature and intuit its response. Play and delight in the beauty and feel your whole body relax from bare soles of feet to your noggin'. Notice what speaks back — in birdsong, in breeze, in sensation and choose to smile, marvel and love the shit out of what surrounds you.

Affirmation: "Returning to the wild is my medicine. My feet are happy and at home on the Earth, and the Earth remembers me."

When was the last time I truly let nature touch me — with my hands, my feet, my attention — and what might it teach me about belonging and presence?

If I remembered that I am nature itself, what part of my wild, untamed self am I ready to reconnect with today?

Hug a tree, stomp your feet,

Let the earth make you complete.

Chat with the sky, stare at the stars,

Nature heals — no apps, no bars.

Go barefoot, dance, let your soul unwind,

Your wild self is what you'll find!
