FULL MOON MOMENT
It’s that time again — the big bold moon is doing her thing, shining a spotlight on all the bits we’ve outgrown and gently nudging us to let go. If you’ve been feeling a little emotional, a little edgy, or just wildly reflective — you’re not alone. The full moon has a way of stirring the pot.
Here are a few simple, feel-good rituals to help you release what’s heavy and come back to centre. No fuss, just real, nourishing practices to mark the moment. Think of me journaling and burning over yonder in South East Asia - I’ll be taking the time out.
🌕 1. Burn What No Longer Serves
Write down what you're ready to release — fears, limiting beliefs, stagnant emotions, unhelpful patterns. Use honest, raw language. Then (safely!) burn the paper under the moonlight, letting the smoke rise as a symbol of surrender. Say aloud:
"I lovingly let this go. I am ready to make space for what truly serves me."
💦 2. Moon Bath + Self-Anointing
Draw a warm bath with salts, petals, or essential oils. Add a few drops of lavender or frankincense for calm clarity. Before stepping in, set an intention to cleanse your energy. Gently anoint your body as you soak, repeating:
"I honour my body. I renew my spirit. I come back to myself."
If you don’t have a bath, try a foot soak or a nourishing shower with the same sacred intention.
🕯 3. Light a Candle + Call in the Light
Sit quietly and light a candle in the moonlight. Place your hand on your heart and ask:
"What part of me is ready to be seen, loved, and liberated?"
Journal what comes. You can even speak it aloud if you feel brave. This is a ritual of self-witnessing — of saying yes to your light.
💌 4. Write a Love Letter to Your Future Self
Imagine yourself six months from now — vibrant, grounded, living your truth. Write a love letter to that version of you, speaking to them with pride, encouragement, and knowing.
Then seal it, and put it somewhere safe or on your altar.
Let the Full Moon charge your future with vision and devotion.
